PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT & THERAPY

PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION

Experiencing difficulties at school, home or work can be frustrating, especially when you do not understand the cause or how to solve the problem.

Our assessments provide in-depth information regarding cognitive, behavioral and social-emotional functioning in order to establish diagnosis and inform treatment planning. Unlike many clinical providers, CPES psychological assessments are conducted by a mental health professional with a doctorate degree. That means that a Ph.D. or Psy.D. typically will complete all the testing, write a full report, and personally provide feedback regarding your results. Additionally, a psychologist who specializes in your area of interest will conduct the assessment.

Our professional staff use personal interviews and history, collateral sources, relevant records available and formal psychometric tests to assess and guide clients in their treatment.

The CPES Psychological Assessment Center receives referrals from a wide range of professionals including physicians and other medical professionals, mental health and substance abuse clinicians, school personnel, state agencies, developmental disability providers, EAP’s, lawyers, and officers of the court. Self and family referrals are welcome.
